All members of BV Drive and BC Leiden can play recreationally amongst themselves pn Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Sporthal of the Vlietlang College. The days and times are listed below. Training sessions are on Monday and Wednesday evenings and competition is played on Fridays.
- Recreational members mainly play on Mondays.
- League/advanced players have their training sessions on Wednesdays.
- League matches are played on Friday evenings.
Recreational play is possible on all evenings. In the Vlietland College we have access to our own bar for a drink and a chat after the games. During the season several social activities are organized.
Vlietland College
Mondays: 20:00 - 22:30 hrs. Recreation training starts at 20:00 hrs.
Wednesdays: 20:00 - 22:30 hrs.
Fridays: 19:30 - 22:30 hrs.
In the month of May there are three weeks we cannot play in the VLC due to school exams. We try to find a solution (alternative venue) every year.

Organisation
To better spread the crowds over the evenings and to ensure that the levels of players match each other better , we have a new contribution structure with two types of memberships from the 2024-2025 season.
Monday evening membership (180 Euro first season including half-season recreational training, subsequent seasons 150 Euro)
- All novice players start with a Monday evening membership.
- The membership fee for the first season of a new member includes six months of recreational training. We think it is important that everyone learns to play badminton correctly and that is why we make this training mandatory for the first six months.
- You may participate in internal tournaments that are held on Friday evenings.
- You can also play on Friday evenings from March to June.
- During summer badminton in July/August you can play on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
General membership (210 Euro per season)
- General membership is intended for advanced players (level at least equal to players from the lowest competition team) who train/play competitions and/or want to play games especially on Wednesday and/or Friday evenings.
- You can also play on Monday evenings. If it is busy, we expect you to make room for the players with a Monday evening membership.
- You may participate in internal tournaments that are held on Monday evenings.
- During summer badminton in July/August you can play on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
